Buy it.
Pretty cheap for a kit including the H4 Conversion.
HID's are so easy to make, I'm sure they'll work fine.
My HID's are no brand because it'll cost more with brand (for mine), but the functionality is the same. Had mine for a while now. No problems.
It's up to you if you want to buy the $300.00
So, no i've never tried those, but wont' be afraid to if I don't have one right now...
Can't find a better shot:
Ow, here's some.....

Are the high beams HID lights also or regular lights, or are there no high beams with this kit?
And what color temperature are your HIDs LAN? 6000K?

The problem with most kits (other than the one Icemark sells) is that they use regualr lights for high beams, if they have them at all. While some people may not use them, much, high beams are very important for night driving along less populated areas. I use them all the time and they have saved me from many wild animal encoutners.

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
neither the lens or the ballasts are DOT legal in that ebay auction, plus with that kit you don't have high beams.
And the bulbs they included appear to be S based, not R based which those lens housings require. But is is hard to tell for sure since they have the bulb wrapped in foam in the pictures

My HIDs come from China when a friend went there.
No brand name and they look like a transistor case.
If I didn't tell you, you won't be able to tell if these are those $300 ones or some cheapo.
*jdm fonts : heh, i can't see....
