The pneumatic slide-operated variable-length velocity stacks on the 26B = sexier than that brunette with the foreign accent in all those makeup commercials

You have your answer, no, so this thread is done, no point in continuing. If Mazda themselves chouldn't get more than about 700hp with 4 rotors, what makes anyone think they can get more than about half of that (350) with only 2? They even had fancy 3 spark plug rotor housings, variable length intakes and all that.

Most 13B's have less than that because of issues with wanting the powerband down lower, not wanting to spin it as high for reliability reasons, insufficient budget to test multiple intakes, exhausts and ports to get the absolute best performance possible amongst others.

No - note the plural 13Bs

But seriously, 600hp NA 13B would be a stretch, not sure if it can be done.

I have a question...where did this question come from? Were you just sitting around one day and thought, "I'll ask the groups if its possible to make 600 horsepower all motor!"

He was telling me one night that his uncle knows a guy that has a 600hp 13B n/a RX7. I disagreed with him saying there is no way it could happen in a 13B. Maybe in a 13BT but not on a 13B n/a. So just to prove him wrong I started this thread.

Actually, that motor made more than 900HP, but they lowered the redline for the race, so it reduced the power considerably.

The point remains, it'd be a huge stretch to get anywhere even close to 600hp in an NA 13B, with N2O maybe, but not all motor.

Nitrous is "bad" for any motor. Adding stress, then again, everything adds stress. Only thing that ever releases it is taking a nice bathroom break.
