hesitation when engine is cold?

My car has a hesitation when the engine is cold and i give it a little gas. if i get slightly into boost when the car is cold (1-2 lbs) it just hesitates a little bit around 3000-4000. is this normal? i was thinking it might be because the car is cold (so its already rich)and the safc is adding 25% fuel between 3000 and 4000rpms... what do you all think?

i wouldnt even be getting into boost untill its warm... i drive around using at most half throttle and not going above 3k untill its warmed up... it only takes a few minutes of driving before its fully warm...

but yea probably is running overly rich... but i woudnt really worry about it since you should wait till its warm before caring about how its performing

You shouldn't be using the S-AFC to increase fuel to 25% because your ignition timing's going to run (increased retardation). But anyhow, if I took a guess, it could probably be because of the increased fueling by the ECU when cold, combined by the extreme fuel adjustment on your AFC (which is metered by throttle and not boost) hence causing your car to suddenly increase the fuel with tiny throttle movements which hence causes the hesitation when the car SUUDDEENLY becomes overly rich. Just a guess. Should try using a FPR to increase your fuel first.
