Hesitation problem ???

Hey guys, this is about the dreaded hesitationish problem. I am not sure if mine is even the hesitation problem but anyways heres what happens... In the cold after I start it up for a good 1 min I can take it for a good run, I can go WOT with no problems, it pulls hard all the way to redline, no hesitation at all. After about 5-7 mins of hard driving, the whole car starts to bog down at 3000k if i try and go WOT. I have noticed though that my voltage gauge on the cluster reads just under 13 after being warmed up, and after the hard driving it drops to around 12.5. Any ideas on what it can be? I have checked many many threads for hours and hours about the hesitation issue btw. I have been thinking it could be a crappy battery that I have, or something to do with the charging system. Another thing after my brisk run, the voltage reads about 12.5, I let it cool down for about an hour or 2 and then I start it back up and my voltage reads close to 13 again. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
