Hesitation issue 4-5k AFR problem (not the norm)?
Okay I have searched and read all 3,123 posts on hesitation, and I have tried every recommended thing that could possibly pertain to my car. But 2 months of trying to work this out is driving me crazy.
Here is the low down;
I get a bad hesitation right at 4k RPM’s, and it continues on till 5k pretty much dead on every time. Now, I only get this at WOT, if I give the car about half throttle it does not occur. I have grounded everything, ECU, Alternator, Starter, you name it, it’s grounded, I have added 12LBs. Of weight to my car just in ground wires. Spark plugs are brand new, injectors are brand new, plug wires are new, timing is perfect, Etc. It feels like it is a firing, or lack there of type of hesitation. I am beginning to think that maybe I am running the car too rich in this RPM range? My AFR’s from 4-5k are right around 11.2-11.4. I figure this should be a decent ratio considering I am at 12 PSi by 4k. I am afraid to lower the fuel output and risk detonation without someone telling me they think I am rich. My S-AFC is setup in 1k increments .. so that might explain that it seems to go away at 5k, but my 4k to 5k is is set 2% leaner than my 5k-6k where I get no hesitation at all.
Does anyone please have ideas on this? It is the only thing that is stopping my car from pure perfection.
Thanks for the input, I am willing to try just about anything I have not already tried at this point.

One more thing I may not have mentioned. I get this EXACT same hessitation issue from 4k-5k on my lower stage of boost at only 8 PSI also. I mean, it feels the exact same.
