hesitation(88 NA)
Well my friends NA started to hesitate. He thought it was the secondaries but he changed them, plus it happens at like 2500rpms sometimes. He changed the plugs, the wires are brand new. He changed the ECU. What could it be? Its really frustrating. Hes going to change the fuel filter as well, but its not too old even. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

My Turbo II has been doing the same thing for about 2 months now and its really frustrating since Ive tried everything and nothing works. But on my car it boosts fine until about 4k then it feels like I hit a brick wall and have to give it light throttle to exceed 4k. I hope someone answers your question with something new that I havent tried yet.

What year n/a? That's a little different than the other hesitations we see on this site. Secondaries are not even considered until over 3500 or so.
Two things come to mind. One is from the post above which makes me think of the mesh filter ON the fuel pump. I had that(hesitation) under cornering with a low tank of gas. It got resolved by washing the mesh filter on the fuel pump in some acetone overnite. I could lift the fuel pump out of the tank, and the mesh filter would HOLD and I mean HOLD the fuel inside it for ever and never. There was a clear varnish pluging the holes in the mesh. Translucent. Like you couldn't see it, but it was there. Better probably to buy a new one.
The other idea was the orifice in the pressure sensors vac line. I changed vac hoses and immediatley got hesitation when accelerating. Put the old line back on and all was well. My car needs a orifice in the line. Some say they don't. That's them, this is me.
If it wasn't such a recent thing I'd suggest checking the grounds and maybe adding extra grounds to the ECU ground wires. See the archieves and look for RXSTER. But if it's recent, I wouldn't think thats the problem.
Maybe a primary plug wire is not on good??? Maybe the gang of ground wires under the dynamic chambe are not secured to the bolt????
Swap primary and secondary injectors if you have time. Then you can look at the grounds under the dynamic chamber at the same time.

But for the initial question in the thread, you can replace the fuel filter for about $20 and that may well fix your problem. Try the simple stuff first.
