Hesitation at 3700rpm
Hey, i recently replaced my Injectors from 550cc, to 720cc, and still running everything stock, and i bought a SAFC, but my problem is the safc wont lower the fuel that it sends into the engine, and my car bogs/floods very hard and i notice a drastic reduce in power, and lots of back fire and my boost gauge lowers a little so if anybody has any ideas it would greatly be appreciated
thx

Is your SAFC hooked up properly? The 720s are big injectors for the SAFC, but you should not have any problem cutting back on the amount of fuel being injected.
What fuel pump are you running? Did you replace just the secondaries, or the primaries as well?

only primaries, and i am still running the stock fuel pump, now that i've been thinking about it, maybe the secondaries arent comming online correctly, and i'm really running lean, i know it's hard for you to tell online

Hooray For Boobies!!!
I don't have a turbo but I do know that 3700-3800 is when the secondary fuel injectors start to pump out gas. If you own an six port engine, I think turbos motors are not, then that too is when the aux ports strat to open. Are you running rich in the upper RPM range with the stock secondaries. If you are not try to add more fuel at that range with the afc. I would have thought you would have put larger secondaries and left the primaries alone. I have this issue with my na, only it loses power there for a second and then it kicks right back in. I need a dyno to adjust my afc correctly for that range of RPMs.

The 720's are in secondary, and my car wont be stock for very long, so i was planning ahead cause eventually i will need to replace them, is it possible for the wiring to have been switched by me being an idiot, and would that cause the same problem or just work, but diffrent, it's like they arent turning on, it kinda seems like it is running soo lean maybe, i dont know exactly, my SAFC reads around 40% AFL at about 4k and the AFL raises

You know when you take the intake manifold off, and you see four holes going into the engine, are the out side pair, for the secondaires? cause if so, mine are really dirty inside for some reason
