here's is my new acquired TII (pics), but i need some help!

here is the TII i just got. some pics of it.

now to the more important thing. there is coolant leaking onto the rear part of the turbo. which line and where is it that is leaking onto the turbo. first turbo so im not familar with how the plumbing is yet but i think i can see a coolant line right above it. what could it be, gasket, hole? how would i replaced/fix this? also, seeing how i also need a new turbo gasket, this would be a good time to fix both problems. besides that, the car is running RICH. my eyes burn standing behind the car.

another problem. i was driving the car and it starts beeping. not the usual coolant beep but an intermittent beep..like..beep......beep.......beep......sounded like it may be coming from the cpu. i can probably just solder it but was wondering what would cause that type of beeping.

ok, so heres the problems..the washer lights and cooling fan lights stays on at all times. think its just the cpu but is there anything else i should check.

and the turbo picture, like my first post, coolant leaks onto that area. how to fix, gasket? hole? i can see the coolant leak onto it...drip drip drip. so the car is not driven now until all the little quirks are solved.

and under the driverside dash there were A LOT of rouge wires sticking out everywhere..i went in, bravely to sort and yank them out only to find they connect to nothing, but just tie wrapped in. also, if you look, the ignition is mounted onto the drivers underside speaker location. weird but works for now. any how, how would you go about removing the stock ignition thingy. its all messed up and i want to replace it with a real ignition switch.

and the hood, yea, exactly what i was thinking. hopefully getting a stock hood shortly. just need to get a truck to pick it up.

umm...well i guess a good place to start is check on the washer fluid sensor and the wires. Really, you can just short the wires and make it stop. But that is the ghetto way. The thermostat might be bad ans causing the fan to run, and by the looks of the car, i wouldnt doubt. The turbo thing i dont know.

You will never hear me say this but you are the only person that should look for a clean NA to do a t2 drive line swap and leave the rest of that POS where it lays. You will spend more money trying to get that thing back to stock than you would swapping the driveline into a clean car.

swapping everything out into a better shell did cross my mind. that is still an option since i only got the car for $800. i just care that the motor is still good. its my project car so any option is viable for me. just cleaning it a bit for now until i can afford a clean shell. but yea, lots of wires are chopped so i do believe the best deal is to get a better shell.

im glad you all care so much..haha...its prob not going back to stock stats. this is my play car. my 86 na is my dd. yea, its destiny will most likely be in a pretty body, worthy of its soul, in the future when i can find and afford a nice shell. i'll be sure to give it lots of TLC until then. yea, an extra filter i had around went in to solve the filter problem. the car's details were done by the previous previous owner, which was a younger guy and the person who sold it to me, had two turboII and was willing to sell me this one. it was just sitting. the owner already had other 7s, a really clean FB, an SA and another black turboII w/ and blown motor (better internal and external conditions of course).

you will be hearing lots of questions from me though since turbo is new to me (only after the search tool is exhausted).

Now you all see what happens to a beautiful car when ricers get them... a lesson to be learned. That poor car....and only 104k on it...brings a tear to my eye.

as for the zbeep zbeep

I keep hearing a beep beep beep
Probably the power steering computer telling you there is a problem with the system. The number of beeps before pausing will indicate the problem.
1-beep, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of speed sensor signal:
In case broken wires or short circuits occur to sensors or harnesses, the buzzer sounds 60-seconds after the engine speed signal of 2200 rpm continues for 18-seconds.
2-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of engine speed signal:
The buzzer sounds twice and repeats when the vehicle speed signal is missing input and/or no engine speed signal is found (short circuit, broken wire, etc.)
3-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of stepping motor signal:
The buzzer sounds when there are broken wires or short circuits in coils or harnesses.
4-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of the power steering microcomputer:
The buzzer sounds 4 and repeats when there are circuit troubles other than with the micro computer.
5-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of steering sensor signal: Steering sensor is mis-aligned or failed or steering wheel has been improperly installed.
