Okay so, i was driving to my friends house and i got on the car a little in second. enough to build like maybe 5 lbs. I have an aftermarket BOV, but it has never gave me a problem. But right after i let off, the car wanted to stall real bad. So i get to his house and start searching to see what went wrong

First thing i noticed was the BOV started to leaked a heavy amount of air. which was odd. So much so i that if you put your hand over it, it stopped stalling out. So i took off the IC looking for vac leaks. Low and behold, three of vac caps where completly gone. Now i dont have the rats nest, i dont have cold start, and i sure as hell modded the TB to death so there isnt alot of options for stuff to go bad.

i reassembled the mess (i had to take the manifold off too) and its still stalling. So, i jack the idle way up and drive 30 miles home. My throttle cable postioning does play a part in how the car idles. I have a remade stopper screw too. sorta sucks to adj the idle on the car.

anyway, yesterday i took the car apart again. found another large vac cap shredded. so i blocked it off. Then i reassembled and messed with the Throttle cable and it idled nice. now whats weird is, its started up and idle immediately. It has never done that before. ever. it always had to warm way up to idle. But then i hit the gas and it would reach 2k then die. but it idled. I looked and the fuel press. gauge was reading 30 down from 40. which was odd...so i started to mess around looking for a problem, then it just fixed itself. Literally. The pressure went back up and it worked fine...!!!!! WTF!

So any thoughts as to what might be going on? because as nice as it is working better now, its still has minor hesistation between 1000 and 2000 rpms.

Fuel pressure low, then back to normal by itself:
I'd look at the fuel pump & it's connector.
Also maybe the fuel pump & resistor relays.

The vac leaks - just normal maintenance - a red herring.
