Here is my S5 widebody turbo vert pics

I have never shown my car on the forum since I was waiting for it to be truly finished but that day will never come since I have to sell it really soon to pay for school. So here it is, let me hear what you think? Try not to be too cruel.

JDM S4 TII Engine and Transmission
Bully Clutch
Haltech E6K
HKS blow off valve
Greddy FMIC
K2rd block off plates
720cc Secondaries
Walbro Fuel Pump
Aeromotive FPR
Greddy EGT
Griffin Radiator
RB cat-back
hi-flow cat
Momo steering wheel
Sparco gas neck filler extension and cap
Pics show clutch fan that was there for a temporary fix while e-fan mounts were being repaired.
The list is endless...

Full custom widebody with no more flip up lights.
17 inch Kosei Racing Rims
Custom Wheel Adapters

Car is a 1989 with 95,000 kilometres or 60,000 miles on the car. The JDM has about the same.

The car is currently tuned to 9psi producing a very manageable 270rwhp on the dyno. The car has been driven about 5k in its current form.

Thanks for looking.

Charn

P.S. if interested it is posted for sale in the 2 gen for sale forum.

wow thats awesome! very clean, but you think you could have posted larger pictures?

I wanted to see the headlights on a larger scale, the pics you have there are way to small.

A local guy made a mold of the lower portion of the 300zx and made it for the 1st and 2nd gen. Like I said I will have to retake the pics in a lower resolution since the detail in the current pics creates a massive file. Or if someone knows another way I will ablige.

i dont like it, the widebody kit looses the lines of the origional "Porsche 944" boxy style and the integra-like headlights are ugly in my opinion even on the integra. However, props for making it work and having your own personal style.

Gonzz - yes I can get another front bumper, the price fluctuates with the mold owner's mood from $500 - 1000 canadian.

Minus Human - I get the Porsche comment alot but not always a bad thing. E.G. When the opposite sex asks 'is that a Porsche'?
If I did it again, I would retain the pop ups or work in the fc2000 lights.

Give me more of the hi-res ones if you want. I don't have much space on my charter account, but I can put them elsewhere.

Details on the headlights, please

Someday, my headlight motors will die, and the supply from salvage yards will dry up. Knowing that, I see a headlight conversion in my future. Your conversion is not only attractive, but seems to be the least invasive that I've seen. Would you post the details of what you did and what parts you bought and fabricated to make the conversion work?

TIA,

I am a huge fan of the tri point bolt on wide body. I have seen it in person at rotary performance in Manassas VA. It gives the rivet on race look. Not a big fan on molding them in because under hard driving the bondo will crack. If anyone is in the VA area stop by their shop and check it out. Its a vert that has been changed over for a solo driver with the windshield cut off.

Car looks sharp. Your hood looks either unlanched or missaligned

Crap, I thought those pics were photchopped, but I realize that you blurred out the background for a reason.
That first pic got me especially suspicious.

George Samuels - great to speak to you since your car is one I dream about often. The bumper and light housings are actually a one-piece bolt in unit. I believe there is a mold available for both stock and widebody fenders. You have to remove everything related to the pop ups. The lights are not dot, but I was working on getting a set of integra lights to chop up and retrofit. The lights are mounted to the rad support to avoid excessive vibration. The housing can take up to 4inch lights. The lower lights are direct replacements for the 300zx. The bumper allows for much better cooling but hangs far forward making speed bumps and slopes a real hazard.

Tonesdef - I was planning on buying some new wheels but I would need 10 inch wide in the back with a 0 offset and 9 inch with a more positive offset in the front. If you go price these sizes with tires you'll know exactly why I am running my old rims. BTW the adapters for those were about 600 bucks.

Wankel7- That is a stock turbo producing those numbers, no engine porting either.

Kingfl337- Your right my hood does need alignment, it is hitting my intercooler piping at the moment.

Ted - Its the real thing, I wish you were more local since I need a new tuner.

This is not the rotary end for me since I have a 87 TII and I am working on a rotary powered Fiat X1/9. I hate to see the vert go but I have no choice.

Would you post contact information and prices (if available) for the "local guy"?

it looks different from everything else out there, which is why i think it looks really good. the 300ZX front end is killer, but i think you need a little bigger front mount to fill up the mouth some.

either way, thumbs up. sucks you're selling it =\

Thanks for the info. Are the Integra housings from a particular year? (Sorry to ask a dumb question. I don't pay much attention to Integras.)

I sympathize on the speed bumps comment. My Mariah nose is looking a bit tattered.

7th Heaven - I agree a larger FMIC would look better but I already bought mine and didn't need it from a power perspective either, some tasteful meshing might do the trick.

Soulja 77 - the sparco was easy to install since I was cutting into a fiberglass fender, what is harder, is to find a piece of 2 3/4 inch fuel hose to extend to the the stock fuel neck. The sparco was a necessity for me but I wouldn't do it to a stock fender.

George Samuels - I am speaking of the 94 and up integras, they came with 4 round lights. You would have to cut out one light and create mounting frame. I hate the thought of using honda products but it is an inexpensive way of getting DOT lights. Alot of honda guys upgrade their lights so the stock one are available cheaply on their forums. As far as contact info for the bumper, I will get back to you. The mold was created over ten years ago. Unbelievably it has never been marketed well. I know of three people in Toronto that have the mold. I was planning on acquiring the mold for myself to avoid being held hostage if I ever needed a replacement. I will speak to these mold owners once I locate them and get back to you.
