HELP - where does this connector go?

sorry i don't have a pic, so i hope my description is enough...

under the intake, where the vaccuum spider is, you have 4 electrical lines that run across the top of the housings - 2 are for the primary injectors, one green one goes to the water pump, then there's a black circular connector with one lead on it. where does that bad boy go? i don't see any other connections within reach under there.

thanks,
john

First off, you REALLY need to put in a post like this what car you have - I looked it up in your profile ('91 NA).

Anyhow, that's the connector for the electrical fan water temp switch. The sender is on the back of the water pump housing next to the green water temp sender. If you have a car that didn't come with the electrical fan (common) it won't have the switch to plug the connector into but the plug will be on the harness.
