help:where can i buy a turbo wastegate for my turboII that alrdy hs the lrgr byps vlv

i heard that prior to install of downpipe and or fullback exhaust system,i must do some mods to the wastegate on the turbo?where can i buy the wastegate with the bigger valve or what is it that i need to do to the wastegate to make it from constantly boosting and blowing my engine.?please someone help me out with some good info?

you can port the wastegate, thats what I did and get a FCD

What about the flap that covers that hole? I'm guessing it's not wide enough to cover the ported hole.

You can only port the hole out to about 1mm less than the flapper..


My suggestion is to buy another turbo and send the hotside to bryan at BNR and have him put a 35mm wastegate in it....

Depends on your mods. IMO an upgraded pump is a minimum with a FCD, with injectors sized to your power level.

So pretty much everyone is just welding a washer to the wastegate flap?

As far as the fuel upgrade with the FCD and other mods (intake, exh, boost @12psi), I'm planning on running 750cc secondary injectors. No turbo upgrade is planned, just a fmic and bolts ons. Will I be safe will a large fuel pump, 750cc and an AFC2 (didn't want to shell out for an rtek or microtek since I'm not upgrading the turbo)
