help w/ outside door handle

how do you disconnect the operating rods to remove the outside door handle. i got the two nuts out easily but im stuck on how to disconnect all those rods.

You first have to unsnap the cover locks at the end of the rods . These are nylon, and are a bitch. Sometimes you can pop them with a long flat blade screwdriver.

They are super easy to pop off... flat headed screw driver.. longer the better.. but yeah. shouldn't be a problem if you aren't completely weak.
