OK my car was dead 1 morning and when I went to jump start with battery charger the volt meter topped out and I can hear the power surging through my car. I changed the TPS and wiper switch a week or 2 before this happened and my car was running great. I just changed the alternator thinking theres a voltage regulator inside and it is still power surging. I used a volt meter to see how much juice is running through my alternator and its reading 18 volts. please help
