hey i have and 1989 RX7 N/A that i want to convert to a turbo... could anyone give me a good run down on what i need to get it done... help would be appreciated...

search the forum. There are at lest 2 threads on this PER DAY.

 

absolute best scenario- find a complete tii, even if the motor is tired and old it will have all the parts required.

otherwise some people swap just the motor itself, others the whole driveline.
its really best to find one person who has everything you need, suck it up and pay the price one time instead of spending hours on the forums buying parts and hoping people ship them and they are servicable.

expect to pay anywhere from $1500-$2500 for a full driveline, then you may also need the hood unless you go FMIC.

remember- you get what you pay for.

 

yea i have a t2...i just wanna kno what i will need for a basic swap i aint doin no heavy mods just make it to a regular turbo 2 for now...i just need to know to get a parts to get the project goin...
