Help!!!! Tried Everything Rx7 Won't Start

ok i have tried everything, my car was idling shitty and i used carb cleaner to find a vacuum leak between the uim and lim, so i opened it up and resealed it with gasket maker, after that the would refuse to start except when twice when it started for a second and went out, the symtoms are as follows, tried jumping from the spark plug to the strut tower bolt, will not jump. i noticed the rmp needle doesnt jump while starting. the engine fuse was blown but was replaced. i tried unflooding it. although the battery is fully charged once you take the key out the charge light and shift up light come on, tried push starting it. can anyone help me out???? i live in stockton, ca and am willing to pay for someone to fix it up

You used gasket maker on the intake? That sounds like a very bad idea to me. Unless you got it perfect, which is highly unlikely, it would disrupt the airflow.
