Help. Stupid clutch hydraulics problem.

OK I'm not a complete idiot since I've successfully replaced the slave cylinder before. Now, since the Azone replacement slave cylinder started to leak I just went ahead and replaced both the master and the slave cylinders with OEM parts I just got off the bay.
I used loctite thread sealant on the threads for the line and I don't see any leaks but for the life of me the system will not pump up to any pressure at all, bleeder open or bleeder closed. What could I have missed? The master cylinder doesn't seem to be drawing ANY fluid from the reservoir at all no matter how much I pump the clutch pedal.
Damn!

you need to bench bleed it first, if not you'll have to pump for a really long *** time before you get any pressure.
