Help, still can't tell.

Alright i was pretty sure my 88 n/a was a gxl. It has power everything, aas, but as for the lsd and the rear brakes i'm still a little unsure. From my understanding the rear brakes were supposed to look basically the same as the front, and also on my rear diff. i was unable to see any kind of labeling. Again from my understanding it should say that its a lsd if it in fact is. Take a look at the pics and maybe someone could tell for sure. Thanks.

I thought some TIIs had AAS as well? Or are you just saying that the GXL is the only NA with AAS?

Only GXL's had the auto-adjusting suspension - that was it. Nothing else. In Japan, all top-model cars had AAS, though. And, no, the 10th Anny didn't have AAS either .

The rear brakes are correct - those are the "big" rear brakes. All rear brakes basically look the same, but the "big" brakes are vented rotors in the rear instead of solid rear rotors.

One other item-To check for LSD-Jack up rear and turn wheel, if both turn the same direction simutaniously-LSD. If only 1 turns, or the opposite wheel turns the opposite direction-Open rear.
Give it a try.
