HELP .... Security / Cranking / Wiring Problem.....

This is my problem. Security system is completely random. Sometimes it will make the seatbelt light flash. sometimes it will beep at me when i open the door. Never beeps when lights are left on and you try and leave the car. Now here is the problem. I turn the key all the way right before you crank the car and all is fine. As soon as i try and crank the whole car dies. No interior lights nothing. Seatbelts trap me in everything. The only way to get it back is disconnect both pos. and neg. battery terminals. Then it will have lights. I try it again and same thing. I get my friends to help me pop start it and it runs. I took it on a spirited run up the block only to die on me with no lights or anything. What could be the problem. Is it the security system playing games with me? Sometimes the seat belt light dims on and off for no reason will driving.
Help me please...

Sounds like corroded battery terminal connections and a bad ALT or ignition switch.

The stock security system only disables the starter, and won't kill anything else.

I would agree with iceblue here for the first things to look at, as well as I would look at the alt/main fuse connections at the fuse box
