Exclamation Help!! S4 TII, what size is the stock turbo??

Ok...Very very very confused....i am hearing that the stock manifold has a t3 flange, then i'm hearing from other sources that it is a "T04E"...can anyone give me the exact sizes of the flange and the inlet? Also feel free to recommend a turbo for my application. Series 4 Turbo 2, looking for 275-300 ponies....

the flage wont fit anyother aftermarket turbo. for the power range you are lookign for look at hybrids by BNR supercars. at www.rx7store.net

The stock s5 turbo will support about 250hp also has a bigger wastegate hole and flapper. But ur better going with a BNR hybrid and porting the wastegate. Or buy a s5 turbo and manifold then sending it to BNR for a stage 1 or 2 hybrid. The stage 2 supports 322rwhp at 14psi.

wankel, mod the stock turbo. You can fit a number of larger wheels in there. Just use the stock housing and port it if you like.

If i do go with the BNR, i will most likely go stage 2...would i have to upgrade the wastegate too or am i fine with that one?

Just some helpful info, GET THE SAFETY MODS. Make sure you have enough fuel, cooling, etc. A big turbo is useless on a blown engine.

I'm sure if you punch in "what size is my stock turbo", you should get a helpful response.

NO, the stock Hitachi turbo does not match any of the popular aftermarket turbos available.

NO, it doesn't match a Garrett T3 or T4 flange.

NO, we can't tell you what kinda aftermarket turbo you have unless you pop open the compressor housing and measure the wheel.

The stage 2 will make around 330 at 14psi. And max boost u'll get around 3600rpms. The stage 3 can make around 350 at 15psi and gett max boost around 4000rpm. Also is there a series 4 or 5 turbo on ur car.

Ok the series 4, u will want to have the wastgate ported. The s5 is a little better unit. Also cheaper for the upgrades and capable of more hp. Bu tu have to but a s5 turbo and manifold.
For the s4 only the stage 1-3 is avaliable, w/ the s5 stages 1-4 are avaliable.
