help on rx7

hi im new to this forum. im about to purchase an 1990 rx7 fc turbo 2. i like it for its power, looks and because not many around. most of all i like mazda, my first car was a mx6 turbo. i just need to know afew things about it. the one i am about to purchase has done 88,000kms, fresh import. i just want to do afew sensible mods, nothing major at all. possible full exhaust and air intake. thats probably about it. i will be servicing often, bc i am looking hoping it will last at least up to 180000kms. i duno much about the rotor engines, but i know they dont last and they have to be rebuilt.
i just like to know, on average how long it will last, just a stock one, service and looked after well, and wats the cost of rebuilding ? thats the only thing holding me back............
also, what are some simple things to look out for when buying it ? i duno anything about ports n stuff..... just simple details on the engine

thanks heaps.

it all depends on how you treat it , mines at 180 right now and its stock on the 1st engine change the oil every 3000km (thats when i do) and keep the coolant level up overheating is very bad if you let it happen most likely it will kill your engine.

Basically read this
