HELP: Rear Housing to Throttle Body Coolant line

Any one have any advice on how to get the coolant hose on a 87 TII?? It's at a pretty awkward place... should I put the UIM on first and then install this hose? Thanks in advance.

Attach the block-side, then bolt the UIM/TB down. Put some wd40 on the TB-side and inside the end of the hose, then slide it on.

yes you will have to get it positioned on the block just right. use a worm gear clamp (not the factory spring style clamps) positioned just right. I use a 1/4" drive ratchet with an extension and a 1/4" socket to tighten the clamp.

After it is positioned on to the block, slide the hose on to the barb on the TB with the UIM at an angle, before you actually lay the the UIM down on the studs.
