Help! re:gauges

Alright, i purchased some new gaues off of ebay, and i just got them today. i really want to put them in myself, but i dont know how to get past the spedometer linkage. its somewhat apart, just wondering if anyone knows what to do, or has done this before. thanks

Yeah, you lie on your back on the drivers side floor, run your had ALL the way up through the back of the gauge cluster via under the dash. Then disconnect the cable.

Yoga training will help you in this task..

I always pull the left side of the gauge cluster out, and then I can reach my hand behind in and unplug the cable. I have pretty meaty forearms also..and I can still do it ( a tight squeeze though) You just need to release the clip and then it pulls right out..

SERIOUSLY! I bent in ways never thought possible trying to get that damn Speedo cable undone and then hooked back in. Just to find out I had already fucked the speedo it self.

It has a small click plug thing on it. From behind push it down and the cable will slide right out.

ok i got it all undone, now what do i do concerning removing the needles and placing the new pieces over top? and where should i connect the power supply to....??
