As I mentioned in another post I made, my driver side power window cable guide snapped last night. This is the piece that guides the cables at the top of the window slide.

Anyone know of any company that sells this piece by itself other than the "stealer".

Is this for your vert? If so, there is a rebuild thread around here somewhere. You basically restring it with a cable from a bicycle. Be sure the check for worn out cable guides on the top of the slide. My guides were shot and I replaced them with nylon pullys taken from an S4 manual widow regulator window setup.

 

The cables are ok, it is just the cable guide at the top of the slide. The one broke off and now both cables are sliding against each other. Are the s4 guide a direct snap in or do you have to modify them. Also, did you use them off a vert or a coupe?
