Help with power issue please

First, thanks to anyone here that posts on this thread.

i put a used J-spec engine in my car, compression tested to 120 psi on both rotors, ACV and air pump removed, throttle body mod, FCD, and no exhaust currently.
My question is when I start it up It seems to idle fine and rev up fine, yet when I put it into gear I can't seem to get going, it bogs down on me. What could be the problem?

Did you install a new clutch or reuse the J-spec one?

Can you put the car into gear with the clutch engaged and engine running?

I reused the j-spec clutch and pressure plate. The clutch disc was in great shape.

No, I can't put the car in gear without using the clutch.

What I meant to say was, can you put the car into gear, with the clutch fully depressed?

Yeah putting the car into gear is no probelm. I think I might've solved that problem but created a new one in the process. I set the timing to spec, but it's hard to keep it from stalling at idle now. SO I set the idle adjust screw to hold the throttle plate open to keep it from stalling. Now it justs idles really high, I attempted to adjust the TPS to fix that but that didn't work. I'm going to screw with it some more tonight to see what I can do.
