help with plug diagnosis-

both leading plugs are fouled and the two trailing plugs are half fouled? The alternator just took a **** on me so maybe it had something to do with a poor spark? Here are the plugs..They weren't that old either- Thanks, yet again!

T1

L1

T2

L2

Also, anyone ever actually cut off the crush washer on the spark plugs to up the compression? This isn't an ideal situation for turbo is it, unless you ran higher octane fuel right?

Fouled?
They look pretty good to me.
That's normal for a late 80's rotary with 5-10K miles on them.

One has more wear than the others. Were they all changed at the same time?

I assume, they were in the fc i just bought, they all looked like they had been changed in the last month.

Both leading plugs are black, its the trailing plugs that i thought were weird, being half-cooked?

Just a tad rich - just what you want in a turbo..

I picked up some NGK platinum leading plugs (BR7-EQP)
at Advance auto parts for $6.99 each..
