Unhappy Help please any advice welcomed

i have jus bought a rx7 2nd generation i new wen i bought it it needed work to be done it drives well but after i drive it for longer then 10 mins it will not restart untill many hours later for example if i drove it at 9am it wont restart untill say 6pm it jus keeps tryin to start but wont does any body kno why this happens?

leaking injectors or poor compression will cause that.

he is probably right but another thing you can do is deflood it its prolly flooding out thats another reason why it wont start up , rotaryresurrection.com has the deflooding procedure in the tech section

my car has some hard times starting up if it doesnt start up the first shot u turn it over sometimes , but mine is a rebuilt motor but when it floods and floods more it gets harder and harder to start

if it is a 5-speed......just push start it, and if it starts, you have a leaking injector (when it fails to start like you said)..... happens to mine on occasion

also, do a compression check to see what you just got yourself into its always a good idea to check the compression of a newly aquired rotary

thanks alot i did wonder if it was flooded as it smells really rich from the exhaust ill try the push start and ill check out the rotaryresurrection.com site that was my first thread on this site and i dident exspect a response so thankyou again
