help please

I have a 87 rx7, we just put a motor in the car and it doesnt want to idleunder 2000rpm, it sounds like it might have a slight misfire. If someone knows what it may be please let me know.

is there anything else that could be wrong with the car other than a vaccumm leak.

check the bac valve and the vac hoses under the intake, also check the tension on the throttle cable

Why did you have to "put a motor in the car"?
What was wrong with the original motor?
