Exclamation Help (please)

I ahve my engine on the floor, it's going back in today.
What do i do with the accuator/diafram thing that moves something in the exhaust manifold??
Have already removed the rats nest and air pump etc.
Can i just wire this gate up??

That's the twin scroll. If you trace the vacuum line plumbing, it eventually leads to the green-coloured solenoid. In my opinion, remove the hardline from the front of the diaphragm (where the banjo bolt is) and block it off entirely -- put the banjo bolt back in as-is.

ok

So where it is now, in atmospheric pressure is the best position for power,
fix it here, is that what your saying.
When vacum works on it, the gate moves to spool the turbo up faster??
