Help, part id.

I am currently rebuilding by vert. I needed a new rear iron. This part, that is from my original rear iron, will not fit into the new iron it is to big. What is this part, and were can I get a smaller one to get my engine done.

Thanks

I hope the attachments worked.

Check the FSM that you can get on line via the links in the FAQ. It's a sensor, probably an oil temp sensor. You'll have to find out the vintage of the "new" rear iron and order a sensor for that specific year/model car.

It's the temp gauge sender, $25 from Mazdatrix.

Read the note about replacement side housings.
