Hello everyone,
Recently i've come come across a problem with my t2. one day i turned on my 7 and my Defi Advance BF oil pump gauge started blinking its red light. now id don't know if the sensor is bad or its something more serious. i checked my oil level and its fine. what are some symptoms that it may be my pump? or maybe there is someone on here that had a similar issue. the gauge has been installed for about 3 years now and it just randomly started blinking. Thanks in advance.

 

If something was wrong with the oil pump you would definitely know it right away. It either works or id doesn't, and if it didn't, your bearings would clatter like crazy while the engine was running.

I would start off by checking wiring and making sure the sending unit is still functional.

This belongs in the technical section, you would have had a faster response if it was posted there.
