Help needed for blower motor relay/wiring

Can some post a schematic and also give me some advice on how to diagnose my blower going on and off. Typically it does this when the cold is cold or has not been driven for long. What happens is I initially start hearing some clicking then the motor cuts out. I can usually get it start back up by tapping/banging the dash on the passenger's side.

I believe the fault lies in the wiring or the two relays on the bottom end of the dash. Also, the lone green wire you can see when you take the glove box out also has something to do with it. I can unplug that and the motor stops then plug it back in and it starts.

EDIT: Mods... move this to the 2nd generation section

As I have been reading previous threads on this subject, it came up that the resistor might be fried. Okay, so where in the world is it and how can I test it?

This thing is starting to really irritate me. I pulled the whole assembly out to check it over as you can see and I see no fried or crusty things and I have check continuity at every wire to make sure there are no breaks. I plugged it back in and it is sitting on the floorboard and I tried to reproduce it turning on and off and no dice. What in the world, I tapped every connector and relay, shook it, banged on it, and it still will not shut off... did I fix the problem?
