Help: Need Wiring For Oil Pressure And Temp Sensors
I Am Trying To Wire Up My Jdm S5 13b, It Seems Like Im Missing A Wire.. I Have 2 Sensors Below The Oil Filter. One Is The Oil Pressure, And The Other A Temp Sensor. I Only See A Yellow/red Wire With Single Female Type Connector, Seems Like That Goes To The Presure Sensor, Not Sure. What Goes To The Temp Sensor? What Are The Wire Colors And Does Anyone Have A Picture Of Them. Thanks,
Chris

Turbo II's run the oil pressure signal wire to the Power Harness - not the Engine Harness.

no, its a turbo 2 car, with a turbo 2 motor. i bought it off someone without the engine. i bought a jdm s5 engine and put that in. i dont know exactly how the wiring runs on the engine, but i dont know where the two plugs are and what connector is for the o2 sensor. all i need is a pic of the connector or a good description or a color code.. thanks

ok, i think the harness i have is a jdm harness. it came with the car when i bought it. everything that follows is based on my gut feeling that this is a jdm harness;
the way the thing stretches across to the drivers side of the firewall from the passenger side, it does not reach all the way across to the drivers side of the engine, where the rest of the harness is layed on top of the engine. there is one single female connector that is color coded: yellow/white...this connector is probably the temp sensor. there is a yellow/red wire that isnt on the main harness but on the power harness(if thats what its called, ted) that looks like it goes to the pressure sensor. now i just got to cut up the harness and replumb it. if someone can check to see if these color codes are correct that would be appreciated. thanks

i have the same problem. so if anyone can provide pics of the wiring and stuff it would be really helpful. cause i still cant figure out the wiring for the temp gauge on my turbo II jdm s5 13b engine too.

ok guys i cant take a picture of it but i'll describe to the best of my ability. if people have the jdm harness which i think thats what i have, there is a single wire with a clearish white female connector on the engine harness near the firewall in the middle right above trans. if you take off the harness loom, you'll see that the wire is yellow/white. that makes most sense that its the temp sensor. and about the oil pressure sensor, thats the yellow/red wire on the power harness not the engine harness. that one should be hangin somewhere around the area below the oil filter.. i had to lengthen the yellow/white wire to reach the temp sensor. hope this helps
