I got a schematic of the stereo wire harness. I can't wait until they get this forum fixed so we can upload pics and the search function works. I'll try again later to post the pic.

Get a volt meter and see which one the "hot" wire is. One wire will give you current, even if engine is off. This one is for your clock, etc.

The other will give you current only if ignition is set to "run" of "acc". This is your "hot" wire.

Have fun.

yes maynard and i searched and searched when we couldnt get it to work....we looked at the diagram that icemark has posted numerous times, we read the online manuals, looked at the online wiring diagrams, and we couldnt get the deck to have power and turn on... thats why we posted and asked, nothing was working

Have you checked each wire with a DMM or test light? If each wire has power when it should then it's probably a problem with the deck.

we didnt have a test light or anything...

anyways, long story short, we spent a good 5 hrs on this and couldnt figure any of it out, so i took it to cartoys...normally i dont trust those guys cuz of past stuff they've done to me, but i went in and told them all i wanted was for them to hardwire it for me and get it set up to have the deck put in, and i did the rest myself...i guess the installer said that it was a complete mess, and he had to go into the wiring in the back speakers cuz something was screwed up, not sure...he only charged me 30 bucks tho so thats good ;D
