Exclamation HELP! My where does this go thread

i need you help, when i took my motor out 3 years ago i poorly labeled everything and the marker i used has washed off. this is a s4 na harness being used with a tII i have removed all my emissions and ac and no p/s. i have figured out a majority of this puzzle but these are the ones i cant figure out. thanks in advance, justin

1. where does the tps plug in, i only have the end out of the throttle and cant find where it goes.

2. this plug is right next to the bottom from spark plug. it splits off and one is already connected

3. this is right at the bottom of the oil filler neck, i thought it plugged into the bottom of the oil pan but there are no plugs there.

4. this one i just want to make sure is emissions and i dont need

5. this one is right off the bottom of the brake master cylinder. i dont have abs

6.this one is in the corner by the brake booster, its coming off the harness it looks like it goes on a nipple, but where?

7. this is right next to the air temp sensorby the throttle body elbow

8. this is below the pressure sensor coming from the harness

if the pictures dont help let me know and i will try to take better ones. thanks again

4 goes to the BAC if you still have it
6 is a test connector I believe
8 is the fuel pump check connector (doesn't connect to anything)
The rest, I don't know

3 is the knock sensor
i thought 4 is the thermosensor in the back of the waterpump housing
6 is the coolant temp sensor on the rear iron

I just connected my S4 NA harness to my S4 TII motor, so you're in luck.

1. TPS connector on a NA harness is near the ACV/radiator cap. Extend the wires, or make a 2ft. adapter with male/female spade connectors.

2. Looks like an AT trans plug. Stays disconnected on manual cars.

3. knock sensor. NA harness has no plug for it. Don't need it anyway.

4. BAC.

5. It does look ABS related. I can't remember if I even have that plug on my master cylinder.

6. Water temp sensor. Nipple on rear iron under the oil filter.

7. AWS solenoid plug. You probably got rid of it.

8. Not sure, look for a yellow plug near the headlight area. All else fails, check the FSM wiring diagram.

1. The TPS on an NA is on the left side of the motor while the tps connector for a tII is normally mor eon the right side. Look down the harness for the old TPS connector.
2. It should be connected to another plug that comes from the same harness as the plug already connected.
3. Knock sensor.

I'm pretty sure 6 is just a test connector for something. It is disconnected on my car as well, and when I asked about it, I was told it's a test connector.
