IN help my runnability, please.....

car was running fine for a couple of days then all the sudden it started running erratically and wont accelerate. it will idle, but when you throttle it, it bogs real bad and wants to die. when it does die, then theres a problem getting it started. i have to disconnect the relay under the dash to get it started and then plug it back in once it does start. then once it starts, it smokes white real bad then goes away and runs fine for another 2-5 min and then it does it all over again. sometimes it doesnt do it at all. if someone has very good knowledge of this problem, please advise me of what i should do about it. give me items to check that occur with this problem. thank you.

Sounds like you have a blown engine. You need to do a compression check..... Search that with titles only, theres lots of information.

sounds like a blown rotor or even the whole motor... suggestion is full on rebuild... but always plug in to a diganostic test before making decisions

i did a rebuild on the motor before i put it in the car. ive been doing this for years, but i am stumped on this. i think it might be the electric omp failing out. this will put the car into limp mode but it only does it occasionally. actually, it hasnt done it for acouple of weeks now. maybe it fixed itself.

Didn't you have a couple of threads awhile ago, where everyone told you the OMP had failed? Did you ever do anything about it then? If not, you know where to start.

yeah, i posted about this once before. i dont have any omp codes at all. the car is running fine now. i think that maybe the rotor seals were sticking because they were not getting lubed right. i started to premix and i runs pretty good now.
