Help with my car please... im stumped

Well.... today my car has stumped me. Its broken Here is what it does:

I srove off, everything fine. 1-2 minutes later the car started to stumble around 2.5k rpm in 2nd. When it did this, i shifted to 3rd and again, this time it wouldnt go past 2.5 rpm. Stopped, started, wont go past 2k rpm in 1st. Stop, rev, wont go past 3k rpm. Stop engine, Start again, everything is fine for about 10 secs and boom wont rev again. It gor so bad now that driving it wont go past 1200 rpm working normally, anything more and it hesitates, as if im giving 5% throttle when in giving WOT. reving up in neutral it bounces between 1.5k rpm and 2k rpm. Will not rev higher. Just now i tried it and it would rev in spurts, some longer than others, like this. Im holding wot and cars is doing --->
(just an example, it does this randomly)
REV to - 3k rpm
dies to - 2k
revs to - 5.5k
dies to - 2.5k
revs to - 7k
dies to - 5 k
revs to 5.5 k
dies to 5 k
and on and on randomly sometimes getting really high wher i have to let off, sometimes only to 2.5k rpm. And sometimes it jus bounces. Im completely baffled. Guesses:
AFM
TPS
CAS
ECU?
or......

Its getting spark at idle, might be cutting out when revved tho, not sure about fuel.

Actually I would be looking at spark plugs and cables first. The stock Mazda HT spark cables only are good for 60K mikes, before they start failing.

Also are your plugs fouled?

What year?
Check your engine codes?
TPS OMP would show up there I think...

Check your grounds, esp to the injectors.

Had a similar event on a 87N/A. Went to the auto store. Came out. Car started, but you could step on the gas wot and it just idled. Pondered a while and disconnected the tps. Started and ran. Reconnected tps. No good. Disconnected and drove home. Replaced tps. Ok. Tps needed for proper fuel managment. You seem to have fixed your car. I just wrote so you'd know that yours is not an isolated event. Truly stange how you can step wot and the thing just sits there at idle. Have to see it to believe it. I've seen one or two similar problems on this site. Tps related.

The car runs fairly well without the tps, seems just as fast. But when exhaust is hot, she'll shoot multiple flames coasting down between 3.5k - 2 k rpm, its cool
