so im going to crank my car, and the guy set it for when u press in the clutch u press a button and the car starts. so since my bearings in tranny are out, i put it in r to move it back a couple of feet. then once i do it BOOM! the car lurches back a lil than comes to a halt. but what the? theres no gas being added so i shouldnt be moving...AT ALL. not only that but yeah... ebrake isnt pulled up so it shouldnt be lurching. anyways if someone can help me out with what they think is wrong. id appreciate it. thanks.

Look Are you saying that when you have it in reverse with cluth in and you try to crank it jumps back?

 

Does the clutch pedal come back up on its own? If not, then there is most likely a fluid leak in the clutch line.
