HELP!! My Baby is Sick?

hey guys! i have a minor problem(so i think) with my 88N/A. well i went out to crank my car about 2 months ago, it was really hard to start, im guessing it was flooded. it took like 10 min to get it started, the batt almost died trying to. it seemed like it wanted to crank a few times, but it never fired up. well like once every week and a half it will do this and ever since that first day i noticed that sometimes when i get on it, it kinda hesitates, and sometimes even stalls then catches again. when it stalls its in the upper rpm's about 5500, then it will go again after about a 1000 drop. im thinking either an injector leaking, or my coils suck. does anybody else have this problem. i took a quick glance at the injectors, i couldnt see any fuel leaking and i already checked the intake for leaks. im puzzled. any help would be appreciated

check the green connector on the water thermo sensor, just behind the thermostat housing- it might be cracked...those were almost the EXACT symptoms I had when mine cracked- it would make contact most of the time, and she would run great; every now & then, though (especially when hot) I'd be cruising along (or racing) and it would just DIE for a couple of seconds, then come back to life again

The procedure is in the Factory Service Manual, which you can download for free:
