Sounds like you have a popped main fuse or similar. Pull the fuse cover off on the drivers side strut tower and take a peak. If it's popped you're going to have to figure out why it popped (perhaps a short in your wiring, rather large to pop that fuse, or perhaps your battery isn't tied down and the positive terminal smacked part of the car and popped it? But give it a look.

Do you have an aftermarket alarm? I had a clifford on my car for a while - it included a remote starter. While I was driving to lunch one day with a friend of mine in the car.... all of the sudden the system armed itself and disabled the ignition... and the car just went flat DEAD in the middle of the road. I called up the installer because I knew he was the last person to work on it. We narrowed it down to the alarm, and we figured out a way to disable it using the valet button inside the car.

Hope this might help...

Sounds electrical to me, check fuses 1st, the ones under the hood, then check the battery. If you were able 2 drive it for a while before this happened it could even be the Alternator.

Actually, the guys at Tweeter put a remote start in my car using the Viper system... I just have to make sure I don't leave the car in gear - or bad things will happen! I haven't had any problems with the system at all...

Yeah - check those fuses. You can download wiring manuals at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com/

theres a ground attached to the starter from the harness?....if u got it replaced then ok..........anyway....i dont know about the starter.im pretty sure it'd be the starter ground..so i'd wait a while before giving the ole starter those love taps....bad starter wouldnt cause the car to die at idle....hmm..check ur head lights..do u have those?...are they bright?.....might be a bad alternator? or loose belts

Does the starter even make a 'clicking' sound? Does the 'starter' turn (some people mix up cranking as for the engine trying to start, instead of just the engine turning)
