help mee

ok so i just got a 88 rx7 gtu and it has some problems. i searched it but cant find anything. my clutch is worn out and need replacement anyone suggest a brand or what i should use? and when i accelerate in all gears, it lag at 4000rpm. so it goes up normal until 4000, when it hits that 4000 mark it slows down and the engine sound gets weaker. anyone know whats wrong? sorry i have some grammar problems cuz i wasnt in america for too long.

Just get a stock replacement or an nice Exedy unit.

Also, what kind of "lag" do you mean? Does it hesitiate at or around 4000?

uh so like it revs up fine until 4000rpm when it hits that point it hesitates till 5000 and stops and cant rev any higher

Check injectors, plugs, look in faq, could be the 3800 hesitation.
