Help Me Plz And Thx

Tuning problem i think...
Ok so i bought a 87 turbo rx-7 i know enough about the rotary and maintnance and what not but it's having some issues. I know theres a 3 - 3500 rpm studder but i knwo it's not that cause you can floor it and it'll cut out.

The original owner had it rebuilt in 2000 by rotary preformance in edmonton. Then it was sold to a guy he had it for a year or two then sold it to arron the guy i bought it off to saying that he went on vacation and it started acting up so arron took it off his hands and tried to fix it he rebuilt the injectors and still same problem.

He said the owner before him had the boost set to 9psi (fuel cut is around there) well the turbo is boosting KINDA it's got a manual boost controller but i dont think it works it was siezed when i went to turn it down or up which ever so i pulled it off oiled it up and now it turns but it still doesnt do any thing for the turbo... i have it all the way down and it doesnt do ****.

so maybe it's the boost controller i'll check that tonight. Now those lines where do they plug into regularly the ones from the boost controller... i wanna try doing stock seeing wat happens.

Also it has a apex turbo timer with a a/f, o2, batt, and turbotimer settings now when i slowly rev the engine the a/f reads around 12.3 - 12.7 i've been told so have it no higher then 12-1.

Now if i give it more gas when it hits 2 - 4 g's it hits a HIGH 14 even dips into the 16's. how do i turn that mixture down? Could this be timing?

Plz help me

please inform us of the question...

but as for the boos controller all that does is limit how high you boost goes. the dashpot to open the wastegate only starts to actualte at stock boost levels. the boost controller slows this process so even when the car starts to hit it's boost the dashpot won't see it, and won;t start to open dumping exhaust pressure.

Under boost? Under cruise? What are the conditions that you see these problems? During the 38000 RPM stutter?

any time i drive it i can start going get up to about 2500 rpms and then it starts to shudder and cut out and bog.

when i'm ideling most of the time if i hammer the throttle it'll go right threw and others it'll just not want to go further then the problem.

Probably the fuel pump or filter.
