I've been looking at the kits on this site http://www.srmotorsports.com/sr86clch.html. I'll finally pick one out soon cause my bearing is making some pretty nasty sounds in there

that clutch and pressure plate will do you just fine..
I have the XT setup cause i had pipe dreams of getting the car over 400 HP... Its over 300.. but, I', starting to collect guitars again!!!!!!! BUT, the plates are rated in torque.. the HD is 268 Ft Lbs... you'd need like 300+HP to reach that amount of torque!!
I've had both... Going with the HD setup will definately be easier on your left leg and ankle!!!!! The XT is quite a bit harder to push

Why not a Centerforce Dual Friction from http://www.corksport.com?
$296 bucks, can't get much cheaper for 90% more holding capacity.

Better to slip the clutch a little than break the tranny or diff.

I rushed the break in on my 6-puck copper/ceramic & it now squeeks a little on medium fast take-offs.
Slow starts are smoooth.
Hard launches CLAMP!

you cannot boost it or bag on it at all....
if you boost or bag one the clutch wont break in properly and will slip and chatter....
i have on installed on my car, took no chances, broke it in properly and i love it....
reversing in it makes you feel like your reversing in a drag car, hahaha....

thanks for the help guys!! im really leaning torward the centerforce now that its not only cheaper but probably easier on my leg and drivetrain. i could just boost to stock for a couple of weeks before i crank it up anyhow. i really think 90% more clamping should well cover 250 whp! the dont specify that it comes with my bearings and seals though? and i figure since the exhaust and such will be out of my way why not throw this in at the same time?
