Help me out!!!

Alright, I've got an 88 T2 with a popped motor... I've got 5000 to make the car into a RALLY MACHINE. My target horsepower is 300, higher than that and I'm spinning the wheels in the dirt. I've already got full RB race exhaust, GRacer Airinix intake, and the RB fuel cut... now:

Who does the best rebuilds/ports for the buck?
What suspension should I use for rallying?
Do I need ride-height adjustable suspension?
Which fuel controller and boost controller should I get/do I need?
Can the stock turbo get me to ~300hp?
Are there any of you out there that rally your 7?

Thanks in advance... Jordan

Stock turbo to 300 is definitely a stretch. May be possible, but a stretch.

Someone should answer with the best place to get a rebuild where you are locally. Well if you port the motor you should get some good gains. I see half of your funds going to getting the engine running again & being ported($2500 or so). Then I would go for a Haltech($1000+) & extra fuel(injectors, pump, regulator-what, $500+) That leaves a grand that you should get a FMIC with and then save up for an upgraded turbo. Thats just my idea.

I would think with your current mods & getting the engine ported you should be at around 225rwhp or so depending what kind of a porting job you have done.
