I know this sounds dumb! I was rebuiding my turbo and completed a upgrade on my 88 T2 I went with t4/t3 hybrid.. I picked out my cold air side wheel and it was a T04E.. I put the backing plate on and the housing on and went to install it on my car and all of a sudden my turbo housing is hitting my lower intake and will not go on as supposed to. I know people have installed this upgrade before and probably ran into this problem, what do I do? the housing is larger than my stock, Do grind on the intake and the turbo housing to get to fit?
