this other one was by the first, it is on a real long wire and just has a white clip on the end.

Ask a difficult question next time. That's the air conditioner pressure switch that should be screwed into the drier for the a/c. It passes voltage to the compressor relay IF the pressure in the a/c system is up to par. This is for the first picture. YOu snuck a second picture in while I was typing.

and finally there is a brown with white strip wire that runs from the pass. side of the car to the front where it is just grounded on the frame

the 'low coolant' sensor that is on top of the radiator doesn't have anything going to it, so could one of these wires (maybe the brown one?) be for it?

*edit- ok so far, so good, took out the a/c must just have forgot unscrewing it.

There is a brown wire that should be going to the LOW COOLANT SENSOR in the radiator. I don't remember it having a white stripe though. Usually a brown/white is a reference voltage signal........that said if it was your car would not run.......so that must be the one for the cooland low signal. Some dummy who couldn't fill his cooling system properly probably grounded it to stop the buzzzzz. HEY, that's a good way to prove that that is what that wire is for. Take it off the ground and let it sit ungrounded. Turn the key on to the car. I think about twenty seconds or less later that buzzer should go off. Give it a good minute if it does not go off in twenty seconds, though.

Your easy or just gave up. This picture and wire I had no answer for! What just caught my eye....is the radiator cap to the far right of the picture. What year car is this? You answer why the radiator cap is to the right of the picture and I'll answer what the wire/connector is.

Mines mounted on the radiator a bit off to the left and another on the water filler neck. Only the one on the filler neck is a real pressure cap. The other is....the other. Mine's a series four, so there lies the diff I guess.

Anyway I'll get to work on that wire. Maybe tomorrow.

it's a really long wire thats wrapped in rubber type material. its wrapped up in the same thing that the a/c sensor came from if that helps. i can cut the rubber some a little and look at the color if you need me too. could it go to something else a/c related?
