help me make sense of the air pump and stuff plz

ive done a ton of reading, looked at the manual on fc3s.org but i just cant figure this out without a real picture, im so confused...i know there is supposed to be (on the stock system) a pipe coming out of the split air solenoid valve (i believe) that goes to the cat to pump air (i think) into it which is needed otherwise the cat clogs (or so ive read)...my problem is that the last owner put in the RB header and pre-silencer and took out the pipe that would have been going to the cat because he no longer needed it. Now there are 2 tubes that are not connected to anything that seem to be going into the air pump and other stuff near there, but one of them looks way too small and the other seems to be the one thats supposed to go into the manifold, i really cant tell where the pipe is supposed to come from or if one of those tubes is it. If anyone that has the piping hooked up to the cat would mind taking a picture of where it hooks up to, or even someone that doesnt have it hooked up but still has the equipment in there that would be SO greatly appreciated...a description might help too, but i couldnt figure it out when reading the manual and looking at diagram. I need to know this cuz my exhaust shop that will be making my system is going to be hooking the airpump back up but is a little unsure as to where the pipe is supposed to come out of...the guy helping me even called mazda and they described something to him that is completely wrong it seems like

any help would be greatly appreciated, im so confused

the haynes manual has a diagram of the air control valve/pnumatic routing. but good luck trying to decipher from it. id go snap a picture of my car right now if i had a digital camera but alas. are you trying to rig your exhaust to pass admisions. if youre not dont wory about it, the pipe is worthless on a rb presilencer.

hmm you could just do it the old fashioned way and see wich hose pumps out the most air and thats the one you want going to the cat. make sure the guys put a one way valve between the cat and the air pump to ceep stuff from cruding up your air valve. sorry i cant be more help i know the haynes manual is prety worthless on the more technical rotary specific stuff.
