Help me identify this wheel. super advan?

Came across a set of these. And am super confused about them, Yes they look like super advans. However type it in on google and first thing i noticed was that.
1. The forks on these dont sink into the outside of the rim. like the claw look.
2. They have a white rim if you would like to call it that, that all the advans dont have cuz they sink into the inside of the wheel. and no label on the face of the wheel.

Advan sa3rs had several different versions.....judging by the centers they look like ver. 2 s (from memory so forgive me when i am wrong ) I doubt they are an obscure japanese bootleg, you should be able to tell quality in person.

advan 3 spokes ftw.

Those are Super Advan SA3Rs, Version 2.
They're popular and reasonably common, but not exactly cheap. Those sizes and offsets you're looking for are pretty common I think, though.

well the gold wheels that i showed a picture of above were the version 2's. they dont have rivets. and if ya notice on both of those pics the spokes come in to about mid wheel. on the pic to the wheels im lookin at they dont sit as far in . and it looks like there is a white rim that sits over the rivets on the wheel.

O i guess in the pic i linked you cant really see the rivets unless u really try. Underneath that white circular rim. there are rivets under there just hard to see in this pic.

Those are The Advan SA3R Version 1. They're version 1 because they have a centercap that covers the wheel lugs.

SA3R Version 2s do not have a center cap. I just sold a set recently in 18" sizes.

The white ones you posted are SA3R Generation 1.
Straighter spokes. Advan decals are located on the centercaps.

The silver ones are SA3R Generation 2, Version 1.
Spokes have more curvature. Advan decals are on the centercaps.

The gold ones are SA3R Generation 2, Version 2.
Similar to Version 1 but they got rid of the centercaps and decals are directly on the wheels.

woot woot. The tires they currently have might be to big.
Dunlop Direzza DZ101 265/35/18 on rear
and 235/40/18 in front.
Not a big deal if they dont fit just as long as wheels work.
The guy said they are japanese tires, and something about they might not be dot approved? anyone know anything about this?

what does it matter?
I rarely see law enforcement check tires nor do I think they know on hand. As long as they are in good condition and not damaged, dry-rotted, or worn down.

the 235/265 combo may rub if you don't have coilovers. If you don't, then you could possibly run spacers to spread it from the suspension.

But I'd recommend coilovers rather than using spacers.

I have been pulled over a few times (liscense plate display) with my obsure brand japanese tires, and have had no issues. You will definately be fine.
