Question Help me Identify this Part :) (Pics)

Hello,

I have an 88 N/A, it had the Air-pump & AIC removed
when I bought it. This part has a vacuum line thats
capped off. I need to know it's function and original
connection location. And, if it's okay to leave the vacuum
line dicsonnected.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

i'm not sure where it connects to on an s4 but it is the pressure sensor and definately needs to be hooked up to a vaccuum line for the car to run properly.

Anyone know where the optimal place to plumb it in
would be? I know theres a nipple right above where
the AIC was, but I though the AIC itself connected
there. Maybe this does instead?

yes, it's the boost sensor.

Connects to a vacuum source at the junction between lower and upper intake manifold (just above the ACV, I believe).

I guess the AVC is what i'm calling the AIC. I have it
connected slightly above where it was now.

Thanks for your help guys.
