Help me identify this part (13BT)

Hey guys, I'm puttin my motor all back together and don't know what this valve does. It mounts on the side of the upper intake manifold on a series 4 turbo motor. I'm going to be using a Microtech and just trying to figure out if I need to mount it or not. I'm running a ser 4 turbo motor in a first gen. If I don't need it, do I need to block off the holes that it ran air to? Looks like it might of gotten air from the pipe that goes into the top of the manifold, into this valve, and this valve regulates the air somehow and sends it into the manifold at certain times?

If I don't need it, what's the best way to close the holes. Get a spot of aluminum weld on there or just tap it and plug it? Thanks

Air Supply Valve for a series four. Used when pwr steering is turned. Get's in the way when you reach behind the throttle body to fiddle around with *stuff*. As popular with me as the EGR on a series four turbo engine.

Blockoff plate, jb stick-weld mashed into the holes, or sealant squeezed into the holes, in that order of preference.

I dont know if someone does...I buy/use whole kits at a time. I wouldnt buy just one for something so trivial unless I needed the whole kit of plates...the JB stick weld stuffed in the holes should work fine, and its not like you can see it anyway.
